Join the Tallahassee Seminole Club on Wednesday, May 23rd at the FSU Alumni Center to help us award the Tallahassee Seminole Club Scholarships to deserving Leon County Public School students who will be attending Florida State in the fall. These distinguished students are leaders in the classroom and in their community. We are also welcoming Dr. Joe O'Shea to help present the scholarships. Dr. O'Shea is the Associate Director of Florida State University's Office of Undergraduate Reasearch and a Rhodes Scholar. The event will be held in the Redina Conference Room at the FSU Alumni Center. Hor d'Oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

- William Floyd- Member of the 1993 National Championship team, 1994 Super Bowl Champion with the San Francisco 49ers, and now is our Color Analyst for FSU Football
- Gary Huff- Former FSU All-American QB
- Sam Cowart- All-American LB ('93-'97), 1993 National Championship team, 2nd Round NFL Draft Pick

Volunteers of all ages helped to assemble care packages for our troops overseas, demonstrating their thanks and appreciation for their service. Included in the packages were items of necessity, as well as items crafted by volunteers the day of the event.
Thank you to everyone who came out and donated items and/or volunteered their time for the first annual Seminole Service Day! Thanks to the support of the Tallahassee Seminole Community, we were able to mail over 150 care packages to troops serving overseas. More than 25 Seminole Clubs around the country participated in the FSU Alumni Association's first coordinated day of community services. We appreciate your contribution!!
